Spatial Audio/ 3D Audio is a key technology in the digital transformation of the music industry. The innovative medium forms a new branch in the cultural and creative sector, especially in capacity building for a new ecosystem of studios, venues, booking agencies, labels and musicians. The Spatial Audio Network Germany is dedicated to this topic and pursues two core objectives:
1. the creation of common standards for concerts to enable touring, which will be developed in so-called think tanks by a consortium of experts within two conferences in Berlin and Leipzig.
2. the goal is the further education of musicians from pop and jazz through coaching in Berlin, Mannheim and Leipzig, which will be selected through a nationwide competition. Based on innovative technology, the project creates new structures in the music industry and actively contributes to the further development of the content of light music.
